Dragon Breath Theatre: Dragon Breath Theatre (whose script development TWP have supported over the years) have been shortlisted for the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Creative Business Awards 2009 (Writing and Publishing category) for their show Cosmos. Cosmos follows a young child to her lost Story Star, introducing very small children to concepts of the universe through epic human stories & magical, participatory theatre. Writer Peter Rumney worked with 150 children, 40 theatre design undergraduates, 20 artists, scientists and teachers to develop the script for a participatory performance for 3-7 year olds, commissioned by Curve Leicester, funded by ACE, and developed in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, CELS, Ignite, Creative Partnerships, Dance 4 and Spark Festival.
Robin Johnson: Robin Johnson staged his play Broken Holmes at the Edinburgh Fringe. It received a four star review from Fringe Review. Robin’s play Nerds received a rehearsed reading at Momentum 2005.
Jane Upton: Jane’s new play about Victorian actress Ellen Terry will be performed at Ms Terry’s former home on Saturday 1st August 2009.
